We help people like you go from little or no boxing experience to a boxing bout in 10 weeks. Get fit, have fun and support charity in a safe environment.
Fight For a Cause is a 10 Week Program, raising much needed funds for charity, whilst providing everyday people the experience of stepping into a boxing ring in front of a packed arena with friends, family and colleagues cheering you on!
The program is designed for people with little or no boxing experience. Our world class trainers will guide you through the process from complete beginner to being prepared for your first amateur boxing fight.
Your amateur fight is a black tie dinner event hosted at the Royal International Convention Centre, RNA Showgrounds. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to show off your new skills. Don’t worry, full protective gear is worn for the 3 x 2 minute rounds, including headgear.
If getting fit, supporting charity and having a good time in a safe environment sound appealing, then Fight for a Cause is the program for you.
Fight for a Cause partners with a new charity for each intake.
The charity partner for the July 2021 intake has not yet been chosen and will be announced soon.
Suggestions? Get in touch and let us know who you want to see partner with Fight for a Cause.
Training takes place each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the 10 week program. You will have two different session times to chose from each of these days.
We provide a full fight kit so that you're ready to train from day 1. This includes boxing gloves, wraps, head gear, bag and shirt.
All you need to provide is a personal mouth guard and groin protection suited to your individual needs.
All Fight for a Cause fighters receive full membership to Fortitude Boxing for the duration of the program. This means you can attend additional classes as you desire at no extra cost.
Experience the glory of fighting in front of your friends, family and co-workers while they sit down to a two course black tie dinner.
Be trained by the best of the best, including head trainer and former World Champion, Corey McConnell.
Our experienced trainers will ensure you are matched with someone of a comparable skill level and size.
Our goal is to ensure all fighters have a good time, go the full 3 rounds and most importantly, don't get hurt.
