What Is
Fight For A Cause?
Raising much needed funds for charity, Fight For A Cause puts you through your paces with fellow beginners to intermediates over a 10 Week program to prepare you for your big moment, as you Fight For a Cause! Make long-lasting friendships training all together as a group over 10 weeks, as our world-class trainers get you ring ready for the big event finale. Each participant will be matched up with an opponent they will get to know throughout the program, based on Height, Weight & Ability which will be assessed over the 10 weeks by trainers & FFAC staff
Our boxing facilities are within 10 mins of Brisbane’s CBD, making it easy to attend sessions straight from work. Sessions are 45 minutes in duration, with one session every Tuesday & Thursday (evenings), as well as a Saturday morning session @ 10am.
Fight For a Cause is for both Women and Men aged 18+, with matchups taking place only days out from the Main Event.. featuring YOU!
The cost is $895 which includes 10 weeks of training, 3x sessions per week, also includes your own Boxing Gloves, Headgear and everything you’ll need to make the leap from Desk to the Ring at the Black tie boxing event!

Yes! Women are actively encouraged to be part of the FFAC program

That’s the best part! Definitely, and our staff will work with you to ensure it is EXACTLY how you envisage it to be
FFAC staff will always work with you should you raise this as something that becomes challenging, despite you giving it your absolute best efforts. However please keep in mind that this is the responsibility of each participant and you will be charged for tickets that you do not sell if we cannot assist you in selling them.
A good strategy is to ask your guests to invite their partner or other people in their network if you think you might struggle to fill the 20 tickets with your immediate network.
Yes, it is possible, however subject to availability
Standard tables are $250 per person ($2,500 total) and ringside tables are $300 per person ($3,000 total)
Training for the 10 week program takes place at Fortitude Boxing in Bowen Hills. The Black Tie Event is held at a premium venue close to the CBD
Ideally you are attending the two sessions mid-week, the Saturday then becomes an extra session. However it is advised you attend all three weekly sessions as they are dedicated to the Fight For A Cause training program. There is always the option to jump in a standard Fortitude Boxing class if for some reason on any given week you can’t attend all the sessions. Additional classes are covered and come at no extra cost
A 6:30pm session on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an additional Saturday morning session at 10am.
Yes, as part of the FFAC Program, you have access to Fortitude Boxing and all their classes 6 days a week to jump in any extra classes that suits your schedule!
Match-ups will be based on Skill, Ability & Size to ensure the fairest of matchups as possible across all bouts for the final event

Traditionally, this will occur only days leading up to the event, sometimes the day prior! This ensures the entire program remains fun and friendly, and that matchups are accurately selected
Yes, the entire group will train together over the 10 week program. This means you will all get to know each other, have the opportunity to engage in sparring sessions, and make lifelong friendships along the way
